Our office is open Monday to Saturday. The team are available to help you from Monday to Friday 9:00am – 4:30pm, Saturday 8:30am – 3:00pm
We provide a direct debit platform option to all our tenants. There is also the option to set up a regular bank transfer.
In accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act, we require four times the weekly rent for the bond. This is receipted and forwarded to the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA), where they will send you a statement upon receipt. The bond money is held with RTA until the termination of the tenancy. The bond will be refunded to you promptly after you vacate, provided the property is left in as close as possible the same condition as when you moved in (allowing for fair wear and tear) and there are no rental monies owing.
During the course of you renting through us, we will write to you every four to five months to inspect your property. These inspections are to check on how you are maintaining the property and to check for any maintenance.
A duplicate set of keys to your property are kept by Tim Altass Real Estate for maintenance access and our routine inspections. Under special circumstances, and on producing identification, the keys can be borrowed during office hours only and we require them to be returned within 24 hours. We do not keep copies of remote controls.
We strongly urge you to insure your personal possessions against any loss, damage or theft. The lessor or landlord has no obligation to insure your personal belongings.
It is each tenants’ responsibility to have the appropriate account placed in their name(s). We can help you do this via our connections partner Move Me In
All repairs are to be put in writing to your property manager via email or to [email protected]. Only emergency repairs will be accepted verbally.
All repairs will be attended to as promptly as possible, however it is often necessary to obtain the Lessor’s approval and/or quotes before any work can commence. Once we have approval of work you will be contacted by the tradesmen or property manager advising of process and to obtain entry.
If the repair is an emergency please call the office and then follow up with an email with details and photos (if required)
Your tenancy agreement can only be ended using the appropriate forms and following the required process., Please see link to RTA website for advice https://www.rta.qld.gov.au/ending-a-tenancy/ending-a-tenancy-agreement
